ADIDAS RUNNERS STORE BERLIN
Adidas continues to accelerate in the capital and opened the new adidas Runners Store in March 2017, directly opposite the adidas Originals Store in Berlin Mitte. While RUNBASE Berlin naturally remains the official home of the adidas Runners Community, the brand new store with its motto "This is fun taken seriously" is definitely another mecca for all runners and marathon junkies. The store, with its urban style and calm, minimalist concrete walls, feels more like a boutique and quickly makes you feel at home. It's more about arriving than just consuming. On two floors, you'll find everything a runner's heart desires. The upper floor is reminiscent of an old apartment, and in addition to the men's department, you'll also find the crew room, where yoga and seminars take place. A highlight is the test center. There, you can analyze your running technique and anatomy on a treadmill equipped with adidas Genie sensors before getting the perfectly tailored running shoe. As another highlight, every visitor can fill up their own bottle with free spring water or refresh themselves with a glass of LEOGANT water after the running analysis. Especially through the Runbase, adidas is increasingly focusing on nutrition and mindfulness, and so every visitor, just like in the Runbase, finds a LEOGANT drinking water installation that has been designed to match the urban design. Through the cooperation with LEOGANT, Adidas is clearly positioning itself to achieve its corporate goals by 2020, to do more for our most important resource, water. By offering free water in the city, a "major step" is being taken in terms of sustainability. We are very pleased to be a partner of Adidas and to create a new awareness of water as the most important basis for an active life together.
