Blogger and author Patrick Bolk was born in the Lower Rhine region of Germany and after a few years in Berlin now lives in Barcelona. In 2008 he started with the blog "Berlin is(s)t Bio" and from 2011 with the blog "Deutschland is(s)t vegan" in the blogger world to share his tips for a sustainable and vegan lifestyle. Both blogs reach several thousand readers daily. In 2009, the blog was followed by a book about the blog, "Berlin is(s)t Bio", a travel guide for organic restaurants in Berlin. In 2013, Patrick Bolk, as editor, published a guide to the vegan way of life entitled "Ab heute vegan", which enjoys great popularity and was later published as the first vegan audio book. In 2014 the cookbook "So geht vegan!" followed, in 2015 another cookbook with the title "Vegan im Job". Patrick says himself that he is happy about the Leogant water filter every day and that he took it with him when he moved to Barcelona to be able to drink the chlorinated tap water there as well.
