Following a 2000-year tradition, ROY Kombucha is a naturally refreshing drink made from the highest quality teas and full of organic acids and B vitamins. This fermented tea fungus is said to have many healing effects. The East Asian tea drink is not only good for the immune system, but also cleans up the intestines, stimulates the metabolism and purifies the blood. In order to be able to integrate all these effects into their tea, excellent water quality naturally plays a key role for ROY founder Fabio Carlucci. The special thing about Kombucha is that it is a living drink. And at the beginning of every kombucha production process is the water. Only gradually do the other nutrient-rich ingredients follow. And in order to be able to continuously guarantee this basic quality, LEOGANT has developed a high-quality water treatment system for the ROY brewery in Berlin. This customised brewery concept delivers spring water quality on a grand scale. While a typical LEOGANT water system in a private household treats about 2 litres per hour, in the Weissensee brewery about 1000 L/ hour flow out of the tap. We are big fans of Roy Kombucha and think you can taste the quality. That is why there is always a can of Roy in our fridge.
